The "Super-Family" is an unofficial group of associated heroes who are, in many cases very literally, a family. Superman serves as the head of the family, a father or older brother figure to most on it, and often as their de facto leader, though in truth they do not follow any kind of formal structure. It's much more a real family, offering each other support and aid whenever it's needed. They also tend to gather on the holidays, whether at the Kent Farm in their secret identities or at the Fortress of Solitude in their more Kryptonian guises. Saving the world never waits, but nobody misses Ma Kent's apple pie if they can help it!
