Zin is widely known as "the Sweetmancer," because he's a trained wizard who, rather than going into a more exotic profession, opened up a bakery in Altur and began to do an instantly booming business. He is a major supplier for the royal family, as well as being the exclusive baker of all treats and sweets for the Guild of Heroes. While he has been known to undertake the odd adventure, most of his time is spent perfecting the ideal cookie or improving on his already world-famous fudge recipe. He gives heavily to charity, funding a soup kitchen of sorts that operates next door to his bakery, and at the end of every day he gives away what's left of the day's perishable stock away to those who can't afford to buy any. He can often be found at parties, whether catering them or simply as a guest, as he's considered one of the more colorful and socially desirable citizens of Altur. He is almost certainly the most popular commoner at court.
Personality
Cheerful, friendly, always seems to be in a good mood, absolutely loves to bake and will foist his (admittedly delicious) confections on anyone who will eat them.
Background
Zin grew up a poor orphan in the poorer part of Altur, but his magical talents were discovered at a young age. Taken as a student at Wrosthorne, he developed his magical talents, particularly a keen skill with alchemy. Then, upon completing his training, he surprised everyone by opening up a sweet shop.
