Background
Early Life
Perry was born and raised on a deep space mining colony, far from the light of any star. His was a world of pressurized domes and softly-lit tunnels, surrounded by an endless field of stars. Every day, Perry would look up through the windows of the surface domes and wonder what lay out there. When he grew old enough to leave home, he hitched a ride on a supply ship and began exploring the galaxy.
Becoming a Spacer
His first experience of daylight was blinding after a life without it, and he has never truly grown accustomed to it. Yet after the burning star finally set, he managed to get his bearings and find his way to the nearest spaceport, and from there out to the stars. Six years have passed since then, and Perry has traveled farther than those on his homeworld could possibly have imagined.

Having grown up up in deep space, Perry has adapted keen night vision. However, as noted in his weaknesses, this leaves him more easily dazzled or blinded by bright light.
ADVANTAGES
Perry is naturally curious and inquisitive about all around him.
T4-L0S, known as "Tally" most of the time, is an archaic robot created as a deep space exploratory probe. His design is boxy yet minimalistic, resembling a miniature (1.2-meter) version of the eponymous robot from the film Kronos. Hidden beneath his minimal shell, however, is an array of sensors, a small claw-arm, a 2-liter cryogenic sample bay, and an open reel tape which he uses to record his travels. Etched into the inside of his shell are the signatures of his designers, along with the pawprint of a medium-sized canid. Countless lightyears of travel have left him with an eccentric and somewhat irritable personality. Perry found him tipped over on a nameless planetoid and had him refurbished.
WEAKNESSES
Normal levels of illumination, such as a typically lighted room, are bright for him, and daylight is blinding.
