Despite its name, the Old Truck Stop is quite modern and kept fastidiously clean. The Old Truck Stop's main building houses a convenience store, private amenities suites, garage for repairs and parts, and a fueling station, all branded under the Old Truck Stop name.

A strip mall also hosts a hair salon, tattoo and piercing parlor, hardware store, risque gift shop, and micro-clinic. Independent of the strip mall is a clothing store primarily selling practical clothing and sewing supplies. Beside that is another strip bearing several fast food outlets without seating, which is provided by an independent mess hall which is heated in winter and air conditioned in summer.

Beyond that sits an old building obviously renovated several times with a sign declaring The Warrens Motel. Not far from the motel is the old truck stop that gives the newer facility its name. This has been restored, declared a state historical site, and functions as something of a museum.

Businesses

  • Harold's Hardware is a limited hardware store that specializes in tools and supplies for traveling and living on the road. Hunters, truckers, campers, and family vacationers are the clear target customers.
  • Jiji's Hair (& Nail) Salon caters primarily to the truckers that come through, but not exclusively. Families on vacation, or returning from vacation, are another extensive customer base, so there's a big customer base of parents wanting to get their kids hair cut and more stylish people wanting to freshen up their hairdos and nails.
  • The Micro Clinic is a small outpatient facility that services minor injuries and checkups, and includes a pharmacy. There are at least two doctors and a pharmacist in rotation at all times with a team of dedicated medical staff.
  • Ink 'n' Clink Needlez is run by the identical twin brothers Ian and Clint Needles, better known as Ink and Clink respectively for the best way to tell them apart. Ink is covered by tattoos and unsurprisingly the primary tattoo artist. Clink is covered in piercings and also unsurprisingly the primary body piercer.
  • Hideaway is a gift shop, focusing on humorous, risque, and raunchy merchandise. Gag gifts, a treasure trove of greeting cards, clothing and jewelry, wall hangings, knick knacks, and other such junk can be found beyond the heavily tinted glass.
