Lych
Lyches are undead mages whose desire to persist in living has pushed them to keep themselves alive by whatever means. Necromancy is widely practiced among them, as it is the means by which many of them remain alive, but not all lyches are by necessity necromancers.
Habitat
They can be found typically holing themselves up in catacombs or in ancient, often decrepit, towers and fortresses. A fair number are believed to dwell hidden within the catacombs of Muurht.
