Born from a miracle within the Pillars of Creation, the humanoid star explores the cosmos, searching for his purpose... and enjoying life and hedonism along the way.
Personality
Hugo is a warm, kind individual, perhaps a bit naïve but he means well in all he does. He is sweet and affectionate, and very open with kind words and physical affection, as well as having little to no filter.
Background
Hugo came from the Pillars of Creation, a star nursery deep in space. The cosmic materials that created him had an unusual reaction, creating him as he is now, not the usual star, and sent him hurtling through space, exploring for his purpose, his reason for existence.

Cosmic Surge
Hugo's magic comes from his connection to his creation, that within the Pillars of Creation. As a human imbued with star energy, he has the ability to call on the heat and radiation of the sun, the intense gravity, and light of a star. Whenever he is pushed he can cause his energy to well up, burning away his outer flesh to become a being of solar energy, enhancing his prowess and magic with solar energy. When he comes down from this he suffers severe third-degree burns and needs time to heal.

Power: Durability - Supreme Level

He's taken quite the beating in his existence. In his travels to this world he has been caught in a supernova, which thanks to his makeup, did little. He's been hit with all manner of explosives and walks through them, taking incredible technological energy weapons or super-powered abilities to leave a scratch.
Power: Solar Blasts - Enhanced Level

His solar blasts are controlled gouts of solar energy that he either pulls from the light around him, or if need be, in himself. As he is still working to learn the limits to which he can stretch these powers, he does not pack as much power behind them as he probably could, at the risk of rupturing his form. He is able to control the trajectory these beams take when they leave his hands, but not to the same degree as, say, Darkseid's Omega Beams.
Power: Speed - Enhanced Level

He's definitely no speedster, but Hugo has been capable of significant feats of speed, largely in short bursts. He is capable of traversing the entire length of a city like New York in minutes, flying or running (though he prefers to fly.) As he prefers to fly at any point and does not tire from doing so, he feels little resistance in how he moves.
Power: Strength - Supreme Level

His strength is so much that he can lift and throw massive vehicles like they were nothing, standing toe-to-toe with planetary threats with ease. Paired with his talent as a brawler, he's no easy target in close-quarters, each punch capable of hitting with the equivalent of a solar flare if he goes all out.
WEAKNESSES
A pure absence of light makes it hard for him to concentrate, as warping the light around him to feed off of or utilize is far easier than using his own reserves.
