At a glance, Owen Moore is just a pretty normal teenager. Conerned mostly with video games, surfing, and other ways of enjoying himself he doesn't register as much more than average. But in secret, he's a student at the exclusive super-school Sky High. He's learning power control and more even if he doesn't have too much interest in heroics. His alter ego is Cyan, an occasional hero and occasional troublemaker.
Personality
Owen's the type of guy that would rather go out and have fun than worry about responsibility or saving the day. That's not to say he won't help out and do heroic stuff if he comes across someone that really needs help but he's not the type to head out looking for it. He'd much rather hit the beach or the arcade. Owen also tends to be flirty and shameless and loves to cause mischief. He knows when he should cool it but doesn't always do it. Owen likes to keep up the appearance of not caring and only being in things for the thrill even when he does help out but he does have a good heart. And when it comes to his brother, Owen is very loyal and protective.
Background
Orphaned at a young age, Owen didn't have anyone but his older brother. Where his brother got cosmic power, Owen got goo and was a little jealous for many years. Good at heart, Owen didn't take as much of a shine to heroes as his brother. He spent more time having fun and goofing off but still occasionally helped his brother and whatever hero he was sidekicking for at the time out. Now he still enjoys having fun more than heroics but he's still one of the good guys and helps out when he's needed or feels like it. He's also a student at Sky High alongside his brother, studying superhuman powers and superhumans in general.
SKILLS
ATHLETICS - Competent: Surfing, Swimming, sports, general athletics.
KNOWLEDGE - Competent: Well-educated, generally well educated on superheroes and villains, super science, typical world knowledge.
PERFORMANCE - Expert: Owen's got natural talent when it comes to the guitar and singing that he's improved upon with practice and training. He doesn't show it as often as he could though.
STEALTH - Competent: Both when in human form and when goo.
TECHNOLOGY - Competent: Generally skilled with both mundane and 'super' technology.
POWERS
ABSORB AND ADAPT - Enhanced: When goo, Owen is able to absorb other fluids provided they aren't especially acidic or similarly harmful. When doing do, he takes on some of the properties of the absorbed fluids such as color, smell, and taste.
GOO STRENGTH - Enhanced: When in goo-form, Owen is a lot stronger than normal people. Shattering concrete, lifting cars, bending metal, and similar feats become easy.
REGENERATION - Enhanced: As long as he has access to water (or other fluids), Owen can use his ability to absorb those liquids to heal himself. He can heal damages to either form but can only absorb while in his goo form.
TRANSFORMATION - Supreme: Owen's got the ability to transform from his human form to a goo-boy form. In this form he no longer needs to breathe and becomes virtually invulnerable to physical harm. Parts of him can be cut of broken off but easily reattched or reformed. He's able to alter his form to be as sticky as glue or slippery as oil as well as being anywhere from flowing like water to a solid gelatin. Typically, he has a sweet smell and taste to anyone that manages to eat some of him. He's able to stretch and flow up along walls and ceilings if need be. This form allows him to shapeshift into just about anything his imagination can come up with but he remains gooey while changed (ie: He can transform into a car but he'll be a big jello car as opposed to a metal one that can drive around).
ADVANTAGES
CONTACTS While he's not the sidekick his brother is, Owen has made a few contacts of various superheroes in the past. He's on generally friendly or at least not hostile terms with them and can get some help or advice if he needs it. He's also got contacts among other powered people who don't want to be part of the hero or villain communities that are willing to help him out more readily.
RESOURCES He's got access to a trust fund that a few people have paid into over the years. His parents were the first and some contacts of his brother's have contributed as well. He mostly leaves the financial management to his brother but Owen's made a few wise and lucky investments of his own to help the funds grow and make it so he doesn't need to worry about money.
WEAKNESSES
BRAT Owen tends to be a brat. He's no villain but he's more interested in having fun and enjoying himself than hero work or being a good student/'good boy'. This can get him into trouble with authority figures or his brother.
HYDRATION Owen needs to drink a lot more water than most people. Either in his human form or his goo form. Extremely dry environments can be detrimental to him.
TEMPERATURE Extreme temperatures present a risk to Owen. Extreme heat will lead to melting and inability to hold form. Extreme cold will lead to freezing solid. Both can hurt him.
WARDROBE MALFUNCTION Barring any special fabrics or costumes, Owen's ability to transform does not extend to other objects or people. This includes his clothing, sometimes leaving him in compromising positions when forced to transform.
