Jon is a quiet, friendly type. The son of a Superman and a Wonder Woman of a war-torn world, he's new to Superia, thrown across the Bleed to this new world. Heroism is in his blood, but he's yet to prove himself here. Only time will tell if he succeeds.

Personality

Jon wants to be a hero. It's in his blood. He loves doing heroic things, even if he's still learning how to do them the right way. As a result, he tends to occasionally be impulsive and hot-headed, although it's hard to tell since he's a very quiet man. Stoic, even. He gets jokes, though, and knows how to smile, or so the story goes. With the Batman involved in his upbringing, he also exhibits a healthy skepticism, although he's clearly willing to believe the best about someone first. It's hard being the kid of three parents with such distinct personalities.

Background

Once there was a world filled with superheroes. Gods and goddesses, they flew through the air and inspired those they helped. And people loved them for it. And those gods and goddesses had children who grew spoiled and selfish and ignored the lessons of their forbears. And because they put the world in danger -- the breadbasket of the greatest nation on Earth was wiped out in an instant -- the greatest of them all returned and tried to put things right. At his side, a warrior princess dedicated to the fight. And they did fight. And other heroes joined the fray and the world was in danger of being consumed by it all. Until the Champion sacrificed himself to save the Greatest and the Princess and the Detective and those who were not consumed in the great blast.

This is the world Jon Kent was born into. The son of an older, world-weary Clark Kent and his new bride, Diana of Themyscira, Jon grew up in a world that didn't require as many heroes. Having powers didn't mean you strapped on a cape. Nevertheless, he was raised as though that was his destiny.

Jon spent his summers on Themyscira, training from sunup to sundown with a thousand aunts, each with the boundless power and formidable skill that only Amazons possess. During the school year, he would spend his days in Metropolis, studying diligently at Metropolis High and spending nights in Gotham, learning the art of being a detective from the Dark Knight. It was the dream of most kids, not just the ones with super strength and flight. Still, he wasn't allowed to be a hero -- the world didn't need them, anymore. It wasn't until he ran afoul of a character called Gog that his life would change.

There had been a Gog before. Jon knew him. But this was a Gog from another Earth. One where the war ended differently and the man known as Gog had it in for Superman and all those connected to him. Attacked while he was in line to register at Metropolitan University, Jon held his own valiantly against the older, more jaded metahuman. Eventually, though, Gog unleashed his secret weapon -- magic. Blasted out of his home timeline, Jon fell through the Bleed until he landed in a new world that seemed somewhat familiar but also very different. How he navigates it from here remains to be seen.

FLIGHT - Supreme: Jon has the ability to escape gravity's pull and fly unaided at speeds approaching Mach 1.

REGENERATION - Enhanced: Jon heals at a rate that exceeds that of a normal human being, particularly in the presence of yellow sunlight.

SPEED - Enhanced: Jon is faster than average, able to move almost faster than human vision for short bursts.

STRENGTH - Enhanced: Jon possesses strength beyond that of a normal human being, although not as strong as a full Kryptonian. He can bend metal and smash through most structures and light vehicles with relative ease.

ADVANTAGES

KRYPTONITE RESISTANT Kryptonite is not deadly to Jon, although he is susceptible to weakening from it and he is not immune to the effects of red kryptonite.

WEAKNESSES

BONDAGE Jon carries the curse of his mother's people. If he is bound, he is unable to use his powers. As soon as he is free, they will return, but he is otherwise powerless until then.

CLAUSTROPHOBIA As a result of his weakness to being bound, Jon has developed a related claustrophobia. He cannot bear the thought of being tied up, or be in enclosed spaces for long periods of time.

KRYPTONITE Kryptonite is not deadly to Jon, although it will weaken him. He is completely vulnerable to red kryptonite.

SOLAR DEPENDENT Most of Jon's power relies on processing yellow sun radiation. As a result, if he is deprived of sunlight for too long, his powers will weaken and fade. Red sunlight will cancel them completely. He still retains his skillset, although at the levels of a normal human being.

VULNERABLE TO MAGIC Jon is vulnerable to magic. Full stop. There's no other way to say it. Magic is bad, mmkay?
