For some, it is possible to travel between game worlds. This is always possible for Traveler characters, though the ability may be more limited for others; not all characters will adapt equally well to all settings, and some characters might be a bit ruined by being too muddled with a setting that is not their own. Some locations exist Between Worlds, allowing Traveler characters to move between them, and various magical or technological means may also enable travel between the worlds. This is not always easily done, but any appropriate character who really wants to do so would likely be able to find such means. (If you're looking for help figuring out how to do this, you can always contact staff with questions. Generally, characters must be Travelers or granted special permissions to move between worlds.)
Adapting to the Setting
- Main article: Setting
For characters who are able to transition between worlds, there is always a necessary element of transformation as they adapt to their new setting. For instance, a suit of power armor from Futura or Superia would not transfer, intact, to Arcadia or Sangria. The characters and their equipment will be transformed, appropriately, to fit the new world. So, a suit of power armor such as Iron Man uses might become an enchanted suit of knightly armor in Arcadia or a magic bracer of protection in Sangria. A character's t-shirt and blue jeans from Superia might become a pair of leggings and a tunic in Arcadia, and so forth. Superman might become a Hercules-like hero with fiery eyes and icy breath, able to leap massive distances or ride the back of the wind, but his abilities will adjust as necessary to the setting. Be sure to check the wiki page for each world for notes on how powers and power levels may adjust for that world. (For example, while on Superia it's plausible for a character to bench press a battleship, in Arcadia they may be limited to lifting particularly large boulders, and so forth.) As always, if you have questions, you should always feel free to Contact staff for more information!
Traveler Characters
- Category: Traveler Characters
Some characters lack a specific "home" world and, instead, exist as Travelers Between Worlds. Traveler Characters are noted here. Some travelers are born in one of the worlds, then become Travelers over time and cease to have a particular world they primarily call home, while others may have been actually born Between Worlds and so have never called any one world home. Some non-Traveler characters may be able to move between worlds, but this ability must be enabled by staff.
