Background

Bruce Wayne was the sole heir to the Wayne family fortune, which was amassed through investment in real estate before the city became a bustling metropolis. As an adult, Bruce Wayne acts as the CEO of Wayne Enterprises, a conglomerate of business interests which span the globe. He also supports a variety of charities through the Wayne Foundation.

As a child, Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, which ultimately led him to create the Batman persona and seek vengeance against criminals. He sought experts in various fields around the world to teach him the skills he uses in fighting crime in Gotham City.
