Physical Description
The campus and architecture of Metropolis University embody a harmonious fusion between science, nature, and art. The buildings are all entirely powered by clean, renewable energy, and they are designed as much like inhabitable organic sculptures as like buildings. Accommodations for plantlife are built right into the buildings, from tiered planters and terrace gardens to buildings with trees growing right through them in large, hollow crystal pillars. The administration building resembles a gleaming dome, the student dormitories are arranged in circles of high-tech "Hobbit holes" around peaceful gardens, and even the science building looks like a gleaming sculpture of a cresting wave. Most famous of all is the "Crystal Palace" lecture hall, a spiraling tower that looks like it were grown from organic crystals that overlooks a large, central reflecting pond.
