Beautiful but slightly overgrown, Robinson Park once presented a shining jewel of verdant life within the oppressive shadows of Gotham. Now neglected due to problems with city administration, its footpaths are aging and its facilities only utilitarian and maintained only when time permits. There are working restrooms and water fountains, at least, and city workers also have access to a number of small utility sheds to help when they do have a chance for maintenance. Though much of the park is still perfectly pleasant and a fine place to visit for some relief from city life, there are areas where none dare to tread: dark at any time, covered in vines and leaves, twisted branches and thicket, rumors have spread of the foolish who dare beyond those boundaries disappearing, never to return.
A long-abandoned bathhouse sits square in the forbidden underbrush, all but inaccessible and covered in mosses and ivy. A restroom, also abandoned, sits not too far from it, with the path completely reclaimed by nature itself. The only other structure beyond the borders of no return is what remains of a utility shed, years ago left to whatever fate would take it.
